Bump * Still searching ....and I'm right now in US, in California/Nevada/Arizona area, so if anyone has 308 in the area for sell, please let me know. I would like to inspect it myself face2face, if possible.
I am the original owner of a red tan 85 308 GTSi. The car is in flawless condition with only 30k miles. Garaged and covered since new. Recent belts, tensioner, water pump and fluids. I have records, tool kit, jack set, original unused spare, unused original floor mats, original window sticker and all books. Very rare find. [email protected]. Annapolis Md
Almost done now with a car that is set to be a beautiful garage queen. Restored completely over the top. Image Unavailable, Please Login Rare color 1977 308 GTB. Have luggage too. 4 owner. Complete bare metal window out restoration. With some records from the 2nd owner. Look up 22641 Serviced last year. Over 100k into the restoration without labor. That's my old car, Sean...they found upon stripping there was a really rare, darker blue on it, than when it was here in Houston.
LOL! Push the bumpers in...... That car ran across America from Ron Tonkin to Texas and on to Louisiana, for the FFQC with mud on it and whiskey bottles behind the seat. It does now reflect the beauty of a rare color as sold new at Tonkin. Rear spoiler removed, black front vents were not correct. This now "as it left Modena"....Top Job!
Thanks Big Tex. Yes she is well a beautiful example of what 4 years off and on of sanding prep work and the best products you can buy can do for a Ferrari. Now the show that was the whole goal this year was just cancelled. Ugh. Will have to wait for the big show in Portland next year. I doubt anybody will want cars with all this current crap. This weekend figured out a few more small issues. Lights blinkers etc. mainly it’s just into dial in mode. Horn didn’t work so have a new one coming. Got the compressor to work but then horn itself wouldn’t work. Should have checked long ago I guess but oh well. Didn’t mean for her to become what it did was supposed to be for my son to take to shows with me in the other Ferrari. But here we are. And he’s now in Denver. Lol. The color is 106-A-32. Azzuro Metallica rare color. Beautiful in the sun. The hunt for parts is a fun and trying experience. This is my first restoration and should have started with something much easier. Oh well. Thanks all. Brian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well still working on it. Larry really dialed it in that’s for sure. Not sure why things take triple the time sometimes. Dropped off the rims for the guy to do the stencil labels. Hopefully he is very optimistic. Just got the correct tires from Coker. Very close now maybe by next weekend. Still have final polish and some minor details to deal with in the clear coat but that’s it. Thanks for the positive comments. It’s really a beauty now.
