    For a hot second, the allure of the speed of the 720, super exotic looks and cool doors was drawing me in. But I don’t think I can ever get rid of my 458 it is such an iconic car, gorgeous, top down, 9000 rpm wail.

    I think I will wait until the 720 spider comes down in price in a couple years and add it along side the 458 then I will have the best of both worlds.

    I don't think anyone would blame you if you did. The 720s is the new benchmark in speed. I'm not sure the F8 is going to be faster on track, even being a few years newer.

    However, if you aren't going to go to the track, I'm not sure it'll be more fun on the street, and I personally don't have the funds to afford a McLaren, even if I have the funds to buy one.

    You won’t regret it. 720 is best car I’ve owned to date.

    seeing that the coupes are already in mid 200 range, give it a year or two it might be cheaper than your spider soon lol
    definitely not against buying one for the sheer speed alone, though it sounds very mehhh in person

    But once 720s spider is available, the next next new toy from McL is already announced. I think it is hard to get the iconic car from McL as it is from Ferrari. So this means you can still only have one best car - 458.

    There is no comparison between a 458 and 720, they aren't anywhere close to the same planet so any decision you make is whatever you feel is best for you.
