Hello, Fit the racing seats of the 458 without changes of the console and hardware in the F430? If no, what needs to be changed? Thanks for your help!
They fit without modification. But, a lot of us in the US that have done this now have airbag lights on.
OK thanks for the info! I thought you needed other seat rails or brackets to install them. It is good that it goes without. About the airbag problem I've never heard. Has the problem already solved someone?
P.s. I speak about 458 seat and not Scuderia. I thought they have a other console. When thats wrong everything is fine.
I have successfully fit 458 seats in 360 however it's a different story with 430. I picked up a occupancy sensor from a 458 and I will be working fitting The seats in a 430 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Then you have just adjusted the sensor, but console, seat rail etc. has fit of the 360? That would definitely mean that the 430 also fits. Thank you!
I should have the 430 in a few weeks and will be attempting the install of the cf 458 race/Scuderia Seats in the 430. I will post the process and results on here. I am hoping to do so without any airbag lights! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just bought a pair of 458 Daytona seats and plan to put them in my 430. Any new info on the airbag light? I will post pics of the install once I get to work on it!
F430 needs passenger seat occupancy sensor or European Scud airbag ecu to cure airbag light. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
If you have an early 430 (mine is an ‘05) with the airbag on/off switch in the passenger door jamb, you won’t have an issue with the air bag light. I installed 488 Pista seats in my 430 with no issues. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
