Serious stunner , congrats ! Perhaps a tri color for the three trans buttons ? Like a small Italian signature to break the Bordeaux ?
He goes on about it being a GT car, classy, heritage...then puts in CF racing seats and replaces leather on the door with CF panels.
I can't agree to this one. Exclusivity is not always an ego boost. Supply and demand is also at play.
Again, what is your point here? I respect that you personally could care less about the scarcity of any given car. You are allowed to have that opinion. But that doesn’t mean that others (read: the market) should have to follow suite. I know you didn’t explicitly state that others have to agree with you, but this comment is clearly tongue-in-cheek and is to be read sarcastically, am I correct? Obviously we all understand that the number of cars produced will make no subjective difference to how it drives. We’re not stupid. No one is arguing this. Most importantly, nobody needs to get over their own “self importance.” It comes down to the simple fact that there’s something really cool about knowing that you’re driving number __ of xx many. If this means I am ego driven then so be it... so are the thousands of other enthusiasts across the world that drive up the prices of these limited models. Clearly, exclusivity matters very much to the people who buy these cars or the prices wouldn’t be where they are today (although I do expect a bit of a correction in the coming years). It’s interesting how suddenly the whites inc 3 layers like Fuji have gone out of fashion, this car would look great in Italia with dark wheels and chocolate (for example)
That looks stunning in Tdf, blue now a real option for me, I was at Rosso Fouco / Rosso Berlinetta or / Rosso Metallic.....3rd world problems here now....blue in the mix, few pictures of the car with Roof up too, it looks absolutely fabulous, for me, cleans the lines from the side losing the intake behind the rear quarter glass, just looks amazing from rear with buttresses, roof up or down, for me one the best looking Ferraris to be launched. It’s gonna be a long wait.... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Agree, loooooong wait. Spec’ing mine next weekend and was told sept 2021 delivery! Latest thought is to have exterior ‘frozen silver’ - Argento Nurburgring with a full car satin/matte PPF to achieve that look. Bordeaux interior. Should look great! Thoughts?? Example of exterior colour: https://www.motorward.com/2016/07/so-cool-its-frozen-matte-silver-ferrari-f12tdf/
I’ve ordered one but roof up I don’t think it’s as nice as the coupe. Looks good roof down but the upper lines look a bit clumpy when it’s up.
Roof up or down it still looks good although few convertibles look better top up (the Toyota Camry two door convertible comes to mind though! But one would argue it looked terrible either way!) I think Ferrari’s solution for its spider versions both 8 and 12 cylinder is as elegant as it gets and keep as close to the lines of the coupe versions and minimize weight penalties Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Sure hope that's protective tape on the rocker panels and not some bizarre distortion. bellissimo in dark blue
They typically protect the bodywork very carefully for test drives. Most of that covering except on the rocker panels is missing in this set of pictures. So maybe it was a small problem the driver was confirming had been fixed and didn't require a longer drive... That Nuovo Blu TdF paint really suits the GTS!
