I think it's getting a bit over heated in here. Look I just don't ever want to see a 360 written off due to a lack of parts availability in the future, especially not for crappy old 90s electronic immobilizers. Already we are starting to see non availability of certain 360 ignition ecus. It will only get worse as time goes on. Having the option to delete it just helps keep our cars on the road for many decades to come.. I'm also working on a way to fix throttle body failed ecus so don't throw them out if they fail people!!!
Trev, you are certainly the MVP in the Ferrari 360 game. I for one can't thank you enough for putting in the time you do to make me feel confident that I will be able to enjoy my 360 for many years to come. You are insuring that oh so important "joy of ownership" that can quickly evaporate with constant idiosyncrasies-- many of which would not have a viable solution.
Immobilizer delete is just one of many reliability fixes. The number of simplifications and improvements I am making now is growing daily. This will not only be beneficial to my own car but many owners around the world.
