Hello everybody, found this interesting forum and thread, and wanted to contribute with a watch I cant find online history about. It's with my family since a while and it seems to be a Ferrari edition of the Longines Vintage Chronograph, 18K Yellow Gold, Manual, 36mm. If anyone knows more about this one, please, let me know!! I seem to remember seeing similar watches for sale new in a Longines watch store around the early to mid 1980's. Very cool indeed.

Found while taking a break today.... about four listings on evilBay for what appears to be the same watch. Exact same photos in each listing. All four listings from Japan, and three have the same text, all "claiming" that it is "surely genuine." I say fake, even with the engraved back, it just doesn't seem right. And you'd think they would clean off finger prints before taking the photos! Any other opinions? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
if I look at the price of the steel version, could it be interesting? what do you think? https://www.eppli.com/de/l/183428/uhren_-_herren/ferrari_by_cartier_chronograph_ferrari-formula_herrenuhr_ca_1990er_jahre?aid=527&accid=4&aname=best-of_eppli_auktion&Lstatus=1¤tpos=9
As i previously said this chronograph is powered by a Valjoux/ETA 7750, so there will be no shortage of mechanical spare for the buyer parts in the years to come. Unfortunately pushers, crown are hard to find. Stretched bracelet....Gold is a soft metal.
I had a GP F1-2000 on a strap but ended up selling it years back. One of the few watches I've owned that I'd buy back tomorrow if I could.
Oh and thank you very much for all the info in this thread! I hadn't ever seen it back in the day. Great info and amazing pics!!!
I think the condition of the watch is very good. So there is no need to worry here. I don't think you wear such a watch in everyday life? Thanks for the feedback.
Ferrari F40 cartier chronograph. 1 of 140 see very first post. Just wanted to show that there are the other numbers out there nobody can really tell something about the value... collectorstudio is asking 20k CND$. In high times maybe... right now? Tough...
