Today a solid rose gold chronograph made in Switzerland sometime in 1941. Who could afford a gold watch in Europe in the early 1940’s? . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alright Dave, another piece of yours I'd mug you for! Also, please, please share another/better shot of those cufflinks!! Are those steering wheels????
Yeah they really are steering wheels, Deakin & Francis from England. Solid sterling and hand enameled. I just picked them up. Pretty cool. . Image Unavailable, Please Login . Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you look them up, don’t pay the prices they want online ($350-$450). I know a guy here in Houston that will sell them for less.
I really would like to see better pictures. Looks like an interesting watch. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It has a Landeron 54 movement in it. Most sites will tell you it didn't come out until 1950 but that isn't correct. I have a suspicion that this watch originally had a Landeron 51 in it which was changed out to a 54 sometime in the 1960's. . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice! I really like it. Will have to read up on the brand. Classic and detailed. Thanks for taking the time to send better pics.
