I’m having my blaupunkt CR repaired and restored to its original condition. The gentleman did an excellent job on a vintage Alpine which I have in another car. He’ll be working on my Blaupunkt Bamberg next. Anyone have information on where I can get the wiring schematics for the Blaupunkt CR, especially the receiver unit. If anyone needs either unit repaired or restored he’s a great resource, he’s here in the States. +1 please post or at least PM the name. I’ve used Hernan Acosta of German Auto Radio for Bamberg, but I’ve never heard of anyone else. And no one will repair the tape transports...

Damn right. LOL took me a year and a half to get it like this. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT! . Prob gonna sell it.
I don't know were you find all these gems. This and the yellow Carrera are so nice. I have soured on the newer Porsches and the crazy buying experience, but am gaining a renewed interest in the older cars. I have been invited to a vintage Porsche rally in May, so have been driving my dp 911 a bit more - loving it more and more. Keep me in mind.
Marshall Goldman, 600 original miles, chassis # 9309800848. Has the flush headlight washers, updated dash center vents, and new-style Blaunkpunkt radio knobs but too early a chassis # for the late-79 Nippondenso A/C compressor and adjustable headlight bezels. https://www.marshallgoldmanoh.com/inventory/used-1979-porsche-911-turbo-2d-coupe-00000009309800848 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know early in this thread, years ago, I predicted 70’s (3.0 and 3.3) 930’s might someday fetch $300k. I know 3.0 75’s have already crossed this threshold. Here it is. ^ This one is an uber rare exception with the low miles. I thought prices on these peaked a few years ago, but judging by BAT results, prices still seem solid nowadays.
So found this 79 repainted red think it would be worth repainting back to the original color? Can't be many turbos in this color. From what I was able to look up it's lilac? or moonscape? feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Image Unavailable, Please Login
. Moonstone (Lilac) 601 was one of the available 1979 colors. Sloan had one, http://www.sloanmotorcars.com/current-inventory/1979-porsche-911-turbo-moonstone-41877-miles/ttp:. It is currently listed as SOLD.
Couple years ago, neighbor's grandson (15 YO) asked me why they would say "Western Germany" on the jamb. We had an impromptu history lesson. He had no idea that Germany (and Berlin) had been split into 2 countries after WW2 with Bonn the western capitol.
I just noticed my former ‘79 930 is back up for sale at BAT. I was caretaker for nearly two decades. That is one very special car. The original paint/finish is just insane. It looks to me to be propped up a little high in the rear. I see the next owner swapped new Bilsteins. I strongly recommend that anyone in the market for this era 930, jump on this opportunity if it doesn’t bid too high. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1979-porsche-930-turbo-49/
Suspension ALL jacked up Literally.. That cost $10,000 at least in final bidding. Suspension settings all wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I have not seen a low mile 79 930 run through BaT would be nice for a reference point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
