    Anyone have issue withe the plugs that snap on to the extenders popping off?

    Spark plugs? The extenders snap on to them, not the other way around.

    He probably means the plugs on the wire boots. They can be fiddley, you have to make sure you’re completely on and the boot cap is seated properly on the cam cover. There’s a knack to getting them on right.

    On my previous set of NGK Iridiums one of the plugs had a leak. The rubber plug on cylinder 2 kept flying off after new plugs. Changed the plug to cylinder 4 and then that started popping off. New plug and has not happened since.

    So your saying if the spark plug itself is having pressure blow through itll pop off the wire gromet?

    Yes, that was what it did on mine. Could not see any defects on the plug but it must have had some defect causing blow through.

    First time for me also. Glad nothing fell down in cylinder if it was the isolator that was bad.
