Ideally for the range including #2966. I've got the manuals, but not the leather pouch for them. Are there any around?
The only ones I have seen recently seem to go for several £ thousands, e.g.https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/pa20/paris/lots/n0012-ferrari-dino-246-owners-manuals-and-folio/836790 . Repros available from Superformance for hundreds.
There was one claiming to be for a Dino on one of the European Ebay sites on Monday - maybe it was this one eBay item number: 303477516774
Thanks everyone, so far. Love this community! Update: Superformance has a repo available for 229.50 GBP (about $300 USD): http://www.superformance.co.uk/246/accessories.html Anybody seen this one? Is it good enough for the judges? Well worn originals are also around, for up to 10x as much.
Here's what the IACPFA says: "Bring the additional items that came with the car such as owner’s manual and pouch. The tools, jack and spare wheel or inflation kit should also be available. It is not necessary to have advertising literature, battery cards, or wiping cloths. Note that good reproductions are acceptable." https://cdn.ymaws.com/ferrariclubofamerica.org/resource/resmgr/documents/annual_meet/iacpfa_guidelines_for_concou.pdf
I see that Superformance now have two offerings. the one they have had for some time at £350 (on back order) and the one to which you refer at £230. From the paucity of decent photography on their website, it is difficult to spot the difference, though the new arrival looks to be a more vibrant shade of tan.
Consult the Dino Compendium...pouches are not all the same, so you want to make sure you get one (whether a repro or original) that's correct.
I checked with Superformance: the more expensive one is not available, nor do they have any idea when they will be available again. Yes, I'm using the Compendium. It's an amazing resource!
