Just a hearty vouch for Dan. I have known Dan for several years now, and you will not find a more honest, straight shooting guy. Just search his posts to see how helpful he is to everyone on this forum. I've seen this car many times, and Dan, like me, is a bit OCD about the care, and cosmetics on his cars. He's kept me apprised of the recent work he had performed on his car...that's the kind of guy he is, he isn't selling anything he can't be proud to offer, whether to a close friend or complete stranger. I'm sure it sounds like I'm pouring it on, but Dan is one of a kind. Buy with confidence.
Very nice F430.Have you had any cell issues with aftermarket manifolds? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I will also vouch for Dan and this car. Dan takes excellent care of his cars and has added many nice aftermarket goodies. The aftermarket exhaust sounds awesome! Buy with confidence. Dan is a true gentleman as well, so you will have a pleasant buying experience.
f355spider said it very, very well !!! You will not find a more honest and upstanding person like Dan. Loves his car....loves Ferrari. Look at the PDF he has prepared ! That should give you a good example of how he take care of his cars. He spared no expense in the up keep of his F430. Buy with confidence!
Hi, I’m in Everett. Close to Seattle. I can meet with you on Sunday. email me at [email protected] thanks. Dan
If the Canadian dollar wasn’t such garbage right now due to incompetent government I would be all over this car. Gorgeous example!
Has it already been 3 years?! Good luck with the sale, priced too low!!!!! Thanks for all of your contributions Dan, can't wait to see what's next!
Thank you! I thought my asking price is fair after everything I have done to the car both maintenance upkeep, repairs, upgrades & extreme care. I also just want to add that these cars are made to be driven so never be afraid to drive your car. In my opinion, having a beautiful, sexy, high performance car and not drive it is just like a person having a beautiful & sexy high performing girlfriend / wife and all you do is look & no touch. What a complete waste........... For those that never owned a Ferrari - there is nothing like a Ferrari. My face hurt from smiling every time I drive my car. Be prepared for people giving you the thumbs up and asking if they can take a picture, or please rev the engine so they can hear that beautiful sounding machine. Especially with the Kline Exhaust I installed - simply amazing Formula 1 car high pitched sound. I also just want to add that its perfectly normal to seek a low mileage car. Just dont forget that a well driven car from a caring owner most likely have already addressed most of the either weak design issues or issues that may come up due to the age of the car. See page 1 & 2 of everything that I have done to my car already. So if you buy a low mileage F430 please check service history and if the known F430 issues have not been addressed, factor that in to your car maintenance budget as you will have to address them all once you take ownership of the car. Realize that these cars are over 10 years old. Just sharing my opinions. All the best to all of you. Dan
Update on the sale of my car. There are 6 people interested. Two came over last Sunday to test drive my car and loved it. I saw the smiles on their faces as they drive During the test drive the CEL came on so I took the car to my mechanic yesterday to have it check and resolved. It appears one of the ignition coils went bad so part is on order and my car should be ready for me by next week. My plan is to sell to the best offer in 2 weeks. Dan
Hi James, No, not yet. My Ferrari Indi Mechanic texted me this morning that the ignition coil he ordered has arrived and he's installing it this afternoon. I should get my car back tomorrow. Then a local FCA guy here in Seattle said he wants to see my car and go for test drives once I get my car back from my mechanic. On Wednesday this week makes 2 weeks since I posted my car here for sale. I will stick to my plan. If I dont get any offers by Wednesday I will start posting my for sale ad outside of FChat (FCA, eBay, AutoTrader, Cars.com) to generate more exposure. My preference is an FChat member or a local Seattle guy as next owner of my car but it may be time to advertise outside of FChat so my car can find its new owner & move on. Dan
Dan Thank you for the reply. While it looks (and discussed above) like a nice price for this car, I think it is high for my 4th car budget at this time. But then, the market is so volatile, that CAR purchases suddenly look SOLID, right? In addition, I am still learning and researching here, and elsewhere and still like 360s and 430s and (as usual) can't decide! Appreciate the reply to me. This board - and members -is really great. J~
You are welcome. FYI, my 1st Ferrari was a 360 Spider. Loved it. Decided to purchase a brand new BMW M4. The M4 I quickly got bored. There is no soul to that car and the exhaust sounds like fart........ So I sold my M4 and bought the F430 Spider. What an amazing machine the F430 is. I wish I can keep my F430 but I am not a rich man so I have to sell it, pull the equity out and buy my next Ferrari as I am ready to try another one. Good luck on your hunt on your next car! Dan
Dan That ALL makes sense to me. I've been a BMW guy most of my driving life. So far: 540i, X5s, and now have an M6 and an X6. Looking to Exotic it up a bit, perhaps, and choose Ferrari. I'm getting older, and certainly not rich, but could find a way....I think. Thanks for the replies etc! Much appreciated. J
