Race 2 was huge fun, started 21st finished 10th, lots of overtakes in the course of 5 laps, including a top gear drag down the main straight with an F5000, side by side till 180mph then he ran out of revs and I pulled away. Engine seems to be fine - I think I dodged a bullet
Just escaped from the Blue Scuro leather Gimp Dungeon and read about your troubles at PI Sorry I was not able to join you for the race weekend this year but it sounds like I avoided getting abused for my dodgy mechanic skills Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Race 3 saw the regular melee at turn 2, I was boxed in on the inside with two cars spinning in front of me, just missed clipping one. Meanwhile half a dozen cars sailed past on the outside, so I did lots of overtakes but only finished one place forward in 9th. A few laps in I went round the outside of another F5000 in turn 1, hairy but very satisfying
Brilliant race 4, no first lap incidents, picked up 2 places at the start than more during the race. Finished 5th so very happy after recovering from my messed up qualy. My new 5th gear is too tall here (and at SMSP) so I'll revert back when I service the car. Just caught up with Alfie Constanzo, what a lovely bloke
Found some vids unfortunately no footage of IanB. Hopefully they post more content in the coming days.
Final race, I got from 5th to 3rd at the start, behind Tom T and Guido. Stayed with them for lap 1 then fuchsed up and spun at Honda on lap 2, so that was it for me Really enjoyed the meeting and very happy to be on my way home with a car that's neither damaged or broken. Great photo with my 2 sons who crewed for me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The bloke filming is in a wheelchair. The start of Race2? for IanB at 7m~ Image Unavailable, Please Login

The driving position is the least of the learning curve Despite appearances, the sensation is the car pivots around where you're sitting.
You should let simon take it for a burn around the track and show you how to drive. Sounds like a hot idea. Flaming good, in fact.
