Hi Guys, Just wanted to share some pictures and mod's that I just got done doing. I picked up a 2005 F430 with Carbon brakes and seats. Mod/Repair: -Engine Mounts -Oil Change -Agency Power Headers -Lowered car...changed out lower spring pad with SWIFT Thrust Sheets, so that I don't have to take the suspension out all the time. -Titan7 Wheels wrapped with PS4 235/35/19 and 295/35/19 -Exotic Car Gear CF GT paddles -Giro Disc Front/Rear Rotors with Raybestos ST43/31 pads (saving the ccb's for next owner) Enjoy! Very nice! Congrats! My first recommendation to you is to remove those titanium header wraps and install Capristo Header Blankets. I installed those same "titanium/volcano" wraps on my AP headers on my 2006 F430 Spider and after a year they deteriorated and fell apart and the exposed heat damaged one of the ignition coils. That was wasted time and money................ I now have Capristo header blankets and they do a very good job containing the heat from the headers and my engine bay is also now cooler. They are a little expensive but they are the best and are very well made. Just a recommendation. Dan
Here's a photo of those "Titanium wrap" I removed from my Agency Power Headers after 1 year. Took me almost 4 hours to remove them all from both sides of my headers & re-clean the engine bay. And those fibers are nasty when they deteriorate so wear a mask. Just trying to help and save you some trouble. Image Unavailable, Please Login
PM me if you want info on where to get the best deal on Capristo Header Blankets. Note that I have no affiliation to any business.
Awesome Spec, I am looking for similar spec 05~06 430s with CC brakes and CF seats. If you don't mind, could you share what price the car was listed for? I'd like to compare the price range.
I used to work on steam turbines and high pressure boilers- you would never see this rubbish used on the steam piping. Its like putting bread in a toaster- u get burnt toast
