so far no signs of car and home prices really drop,it looks bad out there dealers are not selling any cars and they are closed in cali for one month service open but sales closed
Yup, my buddy is the used car manager at Niello Volvo outside Sacramento. Managers met yesterday, and sent all sales associated people home. Not a good time to be in the business.
This new article says 1.1 Million on the low end will die in the US, if it comes true things will be a lot worse than what we think. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/03/19/coronavirus-projections-us/?utm_campaign=site_visitor.unpaid.engagement&utm_medium=tr_social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR1YyRPfKHGFonIzr0w74IzVKBCdP8bzKOYYu4Ppfcfv8f5HoDoCqGsFV_w#Echobox=1584719859
Problem is unlike China where ppl Have no say ppl here do what they want. It will end up with the army plain and simple. I’m staying inside and that’s that. It sucks but... California will bounce back fast because we are doing the right thing? Not sure about all the states... I'm calling Bull Sh*t on that, they say 'reported' so as long as the new cases aren't reported they can keep saying that.
Can I get a amen?) Not many new TRs for sale coming up through public venues ... we shall see price impact in the near future! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup. The "don't tread on me" mentality is going to do us in. Lots of uneducated people who think this is a conspiracy to do in the current administration. On a positive, if you have cash lying around buying the vintage Ferrari of your dreams will be that much more attainable in 6 months.
You should look at the Fox News FB page on the subject of Californians being told to stay at home. The amount of very stupid people claiming that the government are taking away their rights is ridiculous. Some even claiming that this is why we have the Second Amendment! Risible. Not going to happen. Anyway the classic car market is finished. Even given the best case scenario and the economy bounces back quickly, money will go under the mattresses, back into the market, gold, etc. None of it is going to Barret Jackson and mecum. They're breathing a sigh of relief right now that they have an excuse not to be open for business. When they re-open which they will do reluctantly, there will be no buyers and nothing but sellers. You're going to have plenty of time (years) to watch it drop like a prom dress and shop for the perfect car, and perfect bargain after the dust settles. If you think the dow fell fast, wait till you see what this market does! Not a good time to have a warehouse full of mass produced air cooled porsches.
Much like the crowd that hoarded all that toilet paper they won't know what to do with in a couple of weeks.
a few dealers called me this week and said if i was interested i said not right now and they said prices are gonna go up lol people are taking money out of stocks and buying exotic cars
Bawhahaha! Act now....operators are standing by. Don't let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by! LMFAO! Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
