I've seen that a number of times on tow vehicles. No doubt there's a 22' Wells Cargo box trailer somewhere that hooks up to the back of the Explorer.
I see it was presented at Classiche stand. Other than “matching(?) numbers”, how accurate would you say it’s originality details were ? Any pictures of its engine bay, interior or undercarriage ? Were its exterior & interior colors matching OEM specs ? Just curious.
13803 was born Giallo Fly 20-Y-191 with Nero VM 8500 interior. Cannot remember other details, that was 12 years ago during the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic. Do not have any further pix right now. Delivered new in Italy to Crepaldi in Milan. Original owner Mr. Scrivanti in Milan. Marcel Massini

How thoroughly can a Daytona be restored ? Here's a semi-disassembled, original Voxson antenna from a 365 GTB/4 with fair number of parts still intact during its comprehensive restoration. Image Unavailable, Please Login Wasn't working due to several issues, including bent mast, broken drive cable, dried up lubrication, poor electrical contacts, etc... , ... all sorted now. Please forgive me for (deliberately) poor photo resolution.
On top right is a search function (old version), type in Bardinon, and you will find dozens of pix about Ferrari collector Pierre Bardinon and his race track, located near Aubusson, France. Marcel Massini
Just spent most of this week servicing/sorting out similar issues on number of electrical components, including windshield wiper motor/drive gear unit, 4 power window motor/regulator assemblies, various control relays & switches, re-wiring, etc on a '56 (non-Ferrari) vintage car as OEM replacement parts are not readily available nor have been in decades... Fortunately, most of the components were relatively easy to repair or service due to car having been stored (indoors, in SoCal) since 1964. Only considerable problems were present in items which had seen recent "service/repair"(?) attempts performed by hacks who sold the car to current owner few months ago.
Back to pics. Another from my archives. Aren't they lovely, even without undergarments ... Image Unavailable, Please Login

What was your fastest lap ? Image Unavailable, Please Login While not with pictured specimen nor on the track, I just got back from 100+ miles of spirited “social distancing” at nearby mountains with my 88 year old roadster. Only disappointment was the malfunctioning(?) onboard camcorder failed again to capture any of the bit**n’ switchback hill climbs I was enjoying on mostly empty back roads.
i like to use 110 octane leaded fuel as it seems to run better. i mix 91 octane(10% ethanol) with 110 leaded. exhaust tips have a nice charcoal gray color and less soot on rear. plugs look better too. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
bruce, no difference in startup. also less burbling on coasting. the mixture is usually 75% 110, 25% 91 octance. a 50/50 mixture sometimes, depends when i can make a gas run for a couple cans of 110.
