Trying to squeeze in every last drive before the salt hits the roads! More miles tomorrow in #0895gt Image Unavailable, Please Login
Enjoy those drives Mark, my drive in 0879 at Spa on the open roads including the old circuit for a Cavallino article in February rain in 1997 (IIRC) remains one of the purest proper classic Ferrari V12 driving experiences I ever had
Another 50 miles today, really pushing it temperature-wise, I think the high was 38 degrees / 3 C but with the cardboard in, the engine still got up to temp and ran beautifully. Drove with a great bunch of guys to a country store called Hayfields in North Salem New York. Nice people that I liked even more once I saw the picture of Enzo on the wall. I have done 4,600 kilometers since the car was restored and was hoping to get to 5,000km before the winter but looks like I’m going to fall a little short. Since then I have driven the car in England, France, Switzerland, Italy and of course the US of A. It did go back to the factory a bunch of times, in 2015 to the classiche department and then of course in 2017 for the 70th anniversary, read about my journey on: www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/ferrari-250-tdf-0895gt-rally-london-to-maranello.556864/ ... if you missed it. It was good to see the young kids checking out the car, they are the collectors of tomorrow! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, 250 LWB TDF#0909GT is currently with a new paint scheme, metallic gray with a red white blue tricolor strip. To my knowledge, the car has been delivered new in Switzerland and has had a long racing career in this country with Walter Lambert and Tommy Spychiger. I know pictures of this car in red with a white stripe, then completely red. Can someone tell me which period corresponds to this new livery? Or is it a personal choice of the owner, can it be a reminder of the GTO #4153GT, another car from his collection? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Browsing through my pics, I found some of a TDF I saw in 2008 (but I remember seeing the same example 10 years before, at another Ferrari meeting). Does anybody know if it is real? And is it still in Italy? Image Unavailable, Please Login Inviato dal mio ANE-LX1 utilizzando Tapatalk

It is VERY real. Chassis number is 0753 GT. I sold this car in April 1987 to a friend in Switzerland. From the 1st to the 4th November 2018 this car was displayed in the Special Monza Legend display during the Ferrari Finals in Monza, Italy. Marcel Massini
Thank you. Is it possible to know who was the owner when I took these pics? Inviato dal mio ANE-LX1 utilizzando Tapatalk
