The exploded views are not sharing the secrets as to how to get the glovebox out. Can someone shed some light on this ?
It's been a few years, but I believe you unclip the door opening rod, then remove all the screws from the glove box hinge. The door is off at this point. There are a few screws holding the "box" in place. I think two were on the lock. My memory was it was really intuitive and there weren't any surprises. My purpose was to remove the dash. Once you get the glovebox out, you have access to the airbag and 4 bolts holding right side of the dash. BTW, you can also get to the door/seatbelt buzzer. I removed it. It had the worst sound I ever heard.
If one day I wanted to access the expansion valve (AC) to replace it - that would be a dash out scenario ?
