Anyone know how do you get rid of suspension warning light when you run aftermarket shock/damper? Is there an easy solution like a simulator?

That's not what the above control unit is doing. It seems like the unit above is sending out a dummy CAN signal to replicate the normal "everything is ok" signal that the suspension ecu would transmit were its dampers fitted and working. This way the dash ecu isn't seeing a suspension failure error code and triggering the warning light.

Isn't the "control unit" directly hooked up to the suspension ECU?

Looking at the diagram above, the CAN line from the suspension ecu is cut, so it doesn't have a chance to scream out all the warning codes that it will be triggering due to the lack of electronic dampers. The other ecu's still need to see an "everything ok" signal though, which is whats coming from the new box of tricks.

Can the sensor or whatever it is on top of the factory shock be removed from the shock and kept with the car? What is it anyway? Servo? What does that electronic do?

In short, Sachs Skyhook uses an electronic valve in the damper that regulates oil flow, depending on the power current applied.

You can get a cancel kit that simulates that the skyhook damper is till in place, you don't need to the CAN-bus simulation.
K-Sport got a kit, link below.

Does your Ediff warning light come on when the suspension light comes on?

If you’re asking me, I don’t know as I have not put the suspension yet. I’m doing a pre-emptive

Probably but we'll need to get Trev (Trev360) a sniff.
He's probably the only one with enough ball$ to tackle that.

I've looked into this before and actually this is pretty straight forward for me to build and make a 3D enclosure for.
Let me see if I can make a rapid prototype next week and test it on a few models.

If anyone wants one let me know.
