So can you correct me if im wrong, Was the Gloss PPF just brought up to the cowl area and then that strip they used matt black or was the whole bonnet laid with gloss PPF and then the matt black put over it. What sequence ? Also did you spec it black from factory ? Thanks for your reply just trying to get a handle on it because the few examples of the factory black have been bad Edit oh BTW absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!!!
You have a great job. Ones that I have seen totally look bad , so consider yourself lucky ! Yes the look is great especially since the bonnet has a crease there. But I would be hesitant to have it black from the factory given the examples I have seen and just add a vinyl matt black sticker
Thank you! So the gloss PPF was only placed on the white paint surface and a matte black strip PPF for the cowl separately. From what I recall black was standard and can't remember if there was even an option to change it. For me since my interior is charcoal alcantara I would have left it black anyway for as it also blends in the wipers. Without the black PPF, it was not a great looking black color, almost looked washed out like after many car washes so the film definitely made it more presenting.
