The FF is now 8 years old and was designed to be a capable all weather daily driver, has anyone reach the magical 100,000 miles yet? If not how high is your mileage and how reliable has it been? (PS I'm not quite there yet 2012 with almost 8k...)
37k on my 2012. I bought it one year ago with 28k miles. Bought the powertrain warranty. In Dec the intermediate transmission in rear was fixed. Warranty covered $15k repair Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
No issues so far. I also have a warranty on it which I will Extend. DCT was replaced under warranty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
On the German television car show GRIP a guy tried to sell his FF showing more than 120.000 km on the odo. He had bought it new and used it a lot. He said that besides the 2liter oil consumption per 1.000km under heavy use everything was working fine.
2012 with 49k kms, bought one year ago with 35k kms. Replaced the rear suspensions (oil leakage), upgraded stereo, added tempomat and 4 new michelins. Great car, very happy. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
What is tempomat? Google says cruise control but I want to say it's like dynomat or acoustic padding within the doors
What's the solution to increased oil consumption like that? Does that get fixed by rebuilding via new piston rings?
