I care about the future and I find thinking about Ferrari automobiles and how they will be respected, driven and valued (not necessarily regarding money) to be interesting. If you don’t then that is fine but derailing my question is not necessary.

Wasn't looking to derail anything - just pointing out you can spend your whole life worrying, pondering what if's and, how those with Pista's are living it.

With regard to your question about how the car will be respected into the future I believe their's enough feedback on that now to indicate how it will be most likely viewed moving forward. It's really only those without that are seeking ways to criticize the car in a bid to justify their own positions, but again those with Pista don't care as they are the ones enjoying the car for what it is.

This one has to be way under MSRP by now. It's gone from $515k to $450k and still sitting. Too much carbon fiber added to the MSRP on this one. I don't understand the thinking of buyers that do this but it's not my problem. Anyway, you will never get back anything more than about 10% of the MSRP of all that CF in the end.

Car only has 225 miles, clearly a flipper that wishes they hadn't bought this.

Pleasure delayed is pleasure denied. A view to the future is being prudent. Obsession with the future deprives enjoyment of life, possibly forever.

    1) It is not below MSRP, likely above. I dont where you are seeing this. My car is a $457 MSRP and has every carbon option including floors and wheels. I bet this one lists in the low 400's - maybe 420k or so.
    2) It has ~2500 miles so someone enjoyed a bit and still asking over MSRP
    3) Personally I would never consider a low optioned Pista or LE type car and many others feel the same.

This car will likely sell for less than the asking but it is a beautiful example.

Well you need to read the ad again, it's 225 miles on the odometer but 2349 miles away from my zipcode which is probably embedded in the link. It's a flipper car with two owners in that 225 miles and it's been on the market for 6 months. Great spec but obviously too much for the market. My 812 was a $434k spec and the only CF I have is the steering wheel. What was the base price on the Pista?

Pista is spectacular more time that passes more I want one. I will resist all car buying urges though until my new house is done as I have nowhere to put them and it's becoming an issue.

Looks like base price was $353k. This is also an Atelier car so it's definitely going to be pricey. Here are all the options based on the personalizaion plate. It's a very nice spec.

    Two tone stripe $15,187
    Seat Lifter $2531
    Suspension Lifter $6243
    Yellow calipers $1531
    Forged Gold Rims $2531
    Alcantara Carpet $1856
    Black Ceramic Pipes $1687
    AFS System $2531
    Heat Insulating Windshield $1266
    Fire Extinguisher $1907
    Integrated Audio $3387
    Horse in Headrest $1266
    Colored Mats $1350
    ===================== $43273

    CF Front Flaps $4387
    CF Splitter $3712
    CF Engine Cover $8099
    CF Rear Diffuser $11,811
    CF Front Air Vents $2531
    CF Under Door Cover $9956
    CF Rear Moulding $5062
    ====================$45558

    $3750 Destination Fee
    $3000 Gas Guzzler

Total Price is $448581 assuming that Special Options and Atelier Car don't add any other cost. So I think this car is asking less than MSRP because I am pretty sure that the SPEC options are probably things in the car that could only be gotten at the Atelier. However, I have no knowledge of the Atelier process or any extra costs involved.

Cars with MSRP above $500K are in the 30K to $90K below MSRP range... selling person would have received substantially below that in a trade/consignment.

Cars in Mid $400K range are having an ask about $20k below MSRP.

Above observation of mine is in a very limited number of cars... (this is from car dealers/brokers reaching out to me to see if I was interested). No trade or financing stipulation to get these prices.

Silver is not easy to sell at prevailing prices.....I bought my Silver Scud after it sat for 4 months on consignment. Took a small hit selling also.

Silver actually is a great color. neutral yet elegant. works well in many cars, except in Lambo well. Haven't seen a lambo in silver.
