Such as the Ones they premiere at Events but then u find out that they've all been bought by the private Members. Thx to all that respond
Do you mean something like this? or do you mean how to get on the short list to buy limited or first dibs on new F cars? (you basically just need to buy a lot of F cars and establish a relationship)
The most exclusive and elusive Ferraris are in short supply. A dealer's most loyal client's - who have probably purchased many F-cars from them are probably getting first dibs. I think there is a Pista for sale on F-chat. Not sure I specifically addressed your question.
Also cars that make the circuit rounds at events may not necessarily be the car someone wants if they are buying new. I'd rather have a car that hasn't been handled - peeps in and out of it, etc.
Just buy a lot of different F cars at a dealership. Alternatively, I would argue being a friend with the Elkins/Ferrari and/or a special circumstance (say you buy 100 cars at once) that sort of thing.
No, being sarcastic. =) But, I have found that going to lots of events & having a nice car has gotten me invited to lots of high end not publicized private very Fun & nice events.
So being friends with key people (for example Leclerc got the first Pista in Monaco) Buying in bulk (see Sultan of Brunei) Or having a long history and buying lots of cars over time.
There’s a video on this on the VinWiki YouTube channel. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
As in most other things in life; by buying new and often. By not discussing or caring how much a car or a service is going to cost. That, over time, will lay the foundations of you being regarded as a valued customer and all the perks associated with it. How important it is, it’s something personal. I have all the imaginable perks and I’m viewed as a valued customer at BMW (bought 3 in last 18 months), and although BMW isn’t Ferrari, I don’t think highly of myself because of it, nor does it matter in my life in the whole grand scheme of things. Would be lying though if I said it isn’t nice, and that I wouldn’t find it preferable to not being a valued customer. Kind regards, Nuno.
Basicly..you must drop your shorts and take it in the rear for a couple years..without lube btw. Enjoy.
Haha basically Ferrari often makes you buy less popular models in order to qualify for a popular one. For example, I would haveb to buy a Lusso to get Pista. That sort of thing. Cheers
Two examples, from two friends who have both made the list to buy a new La Ferrari (but not a LaF Spider) and TdF the last few years: one has bought 15 new Ferraris in the last 10 years or so, the other has bought 12. These purchases included the TdF and LaF, and also F12, 599, both Lussos, FF, most of which they flipped without ever seeing. I haven't added it up exactly but in US$ terms I am sure they spent at least $30m each on new Ferraris, in the last decade or so, order to get the LaF and TDF. The resale hit on the standard cars depends how high up the list you've climbed for first dibs on those. My friends are high up but they have been doing it a long time.
