Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Hey guys, It sounds weird to say that this car is a real barn find, however, it really is! It has never been registered, no first owner in the system, never been serviced, never been driven (as far as I know). Delivery mileage etc etc... Well, here it is.
Because it’s been sitting around for years, I’ve schedule a thorough and major service. I purchased the car sight unseen, not being able to start it up. Well since you're the official first owner I guess you have a warranty now in effect to cover the issue of it not starting up.
Let the work begin... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car was kept in storage since 2007 and was never moved. I came across it via another car collector/dealer that mentioned that he had discovered it and if I was interested. It took a good 14 months to materialise and for the deal to take place. The only worry now is starting the car up and making sure everything is 110% before we kick it over.
My young guy admiring it. really looks great in person. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And don't forget tires, which have aged out, unless you are going to keep the car as a paper weight. I would save the old tires to sell with the car when that day comes as they are now as much a part of the story as the documentation.
So you own 2 of my favorite cars of all time - F40 / GT. I guess there might be more horses in this stable ? Great buy ! Keep those old/ dry Goodyears for posterity, and buy some Bridgestones, to be able to get that power to the ground. Enjoy!
Thanks guys! Will definitely be keeping the original tyres as you can see they’re still on the car. Trying to keep the car completely original and untouched but performing a complete through service to make sure it runs and lasts another 14 years, as that is the last time it was lubed and fuelled up. So far, they’ve drained all fluids and fuel.
Wonderful…….Remember replace the battery and CLEAN THE NEGATIVE GROUND WIRE AND BOLT AND THREAD! New Bridgestones and away you go. The car is a bullet proof. The real deal 2005/2006 Whats the vin 05 or 06, if you would liKe more info. Good luck with one of the all time greats. GTJOEY1314
