Hit 14,000 tonight in my 2018 488. No one on the back roads.

Cedar Key in Levy County - less than a leisurely hour drive. Really cool little quiet village on the gulf in Levy County. Wife and I come here often for a romantic dinner and sunset-watching. The locals (seems like a lot of vets) make a huge fuss over it and ask us to 'light it up' when leaving (haven't taken them up on their offer).

Weird number, 10 K and then it changes the mind set, either sell the car or just drive and enjoy. I chose to drive and enjoy, 12K miles. By the way, the easiest trick for the green wrench, change the year back. I think mine says 2000. No green wrench.

Wish we had some nice twisty roads with some elevation changes closer. Dallas roads are mostly square and flat. We do have a tollway that's aka North Dallas Autobahn

Your best bet for twists and elevation changes is up by the Red River, northwest of the Metroplex, north of 82. Bulcher, Illinois Bend, Spanish Fort, etc. It's not Colorado, but among the better driving roads I've driven in this part of Texas in terms of twist and elevation change...T

Congrats on ruining your 458! :)

Bought my 456M with 7K miles on it and sold it with 32K miles on it, and for a great price because I had about $35K in restoration receipts (Plus it was the only Rosso Corsa/Shields/Tan Daytona 456M in the US). Bought my 360 manual with 25K on it and already have 35K on it 30 months later! Resale value will only be of concern to the executor of my will.

I buy 'em to drive 'em. Anybody want to contribute to my F50 Go Fund Me? I'd ruin one of those too! :D

I bought mine at 49,000 miles and it now has 109,000 miles on it, 16 years later. And according to all the price guides, it's now worth MORE than what I paid for it!

That's just getting broken in for a pickup truck, but in the Ferrari works, you are THE MAN! Kudos. Any major repairs, breakages, failures, etc. in that time?

A well maintained car speaks for itself, too many cars a left in the garage gathering dust, Ferraris are meant to be RACED and not cruising at 65mph on the freeway. A friend of mine just received his 812 Superfast, he just returned his hardly used Black on Black 812 to Newport Ferrari with 325 on the clock, the fastest he has every driven the 812 is probably 75mph, why spend the money OR is it just to say I own a 812. On another note I owned a 246GTS for some 30 years, you will laugh if i told you what I paid for the car, I drove that car as much as possible except in the rain. Sold the car last year for a undisclosed amount money, the only reason I sold the car was parts were becoming hard to find and too much texting and driving as I was nearly rear ended many times
