I did prefer without bumpers ! It was lowered by previous owner for racing, by ORECA for those who know. After racing I change to raise it as normal. Image Unavailable, Please Login
for racing? a 250 GT/E for racing. it is a touring car and not for racing. or you know other 4 seaters for racing?
I agree with you but I bought the car like that and when I stopped racing I came back to a "civilian" version ! History is full of 4 seaters for racing. And you who are in Germany, ( or in Alsace ) you remember this german car ?
autsch, getting older, not remember. please help me but 250 GTE special 1970 model is never possible. with the foglight in the grill it is a 1962 I think never have seen those large side air outlets in a fender from a 250 GTE is this white or is this silver?
I did not pay attention to the year ! Must be a « specialist » It looks silver, not my picture. BUT the large side air outlets are standard. I will post a picture.

as far as I remember, this is not a 250 GTE. There was a 250 GTE body on a 365/400/412 drivetrain here in Germany. Maybe it was this car. But I´m NOT 100% sure.
18559 was originally a lovely 365 GT4 2+2 painted Marrone 2.443.221 with Beige VM 3218 interior and completed 21 May 1975. Assembly sequence #402, Pininfarina Body #434. Sold new to Campagnano Valtolina in Italy. Marcel Massini
I guess the original chassis of this 250 GT 2+2 has been cut and the engine ripped out to make another fake GTO. Then a guy bought the bodyshell of this 250 GT 2+2 to screw it on what was left of a splendid 365 GT/4 2+2. Whatever the reason, it's not the car that's crazy but the people who made this miserable thing.

Wrong engine, non-matching, restamped. Original engine is in USA on the west coast. Also, the mileage is not 24'296 kms but actually 124'296 kms. And it has been on the market and offered by all sorts of dealers and auctioneers since 2011........... Marcel Massini
