Well boys, I know we only got P2 but my God this feels like a win! I thoroughly enjoyed that race and my faith in Leclerc continues to pay dividends. He’s a f’in hero in my books. Wow, what a result! pain turned to gain overnight.
Cant wait to see another youngster on the podium soon. That run to the team by Lando is amazing. He is partying tonight.
I think the large surprise for me was how Racing Clone was weak and not doing as well as it seemed in practice or qualy. Yes they had mechanical issues but the Clone is not a guarantee of wins or podiums.
Charles lucky but I’ll take it. Ferrari planned upgrades better work, they are a mess right now. Should have been 5th at best but attrition and Hammy gave SF a podium. Vettel is useless.
Racing clone has one driver and a clone driver, the clone is useless and the other is ok but not top tier......
Leclerc the real deal though....but that car has no engine. My 2 thoughts are the sport has a large group of really good young drivers and FORZA FERRARI!
Charles definitely drove wheels off that snail box, best overtaking moves in the race. McLaren was a quicker car overall, but Ferrari had the better driver.
Perez needs to show what he has learned and is capable of now. He is not young and not moving to a top team ever again. He needs to show he is the leader with this clone Mercedes.
Charles was top driver once again, they guy is just brilliant ( i suspect the clifford must be rather good at saving tires...wich is normal since it goes so slow!!), too bad some idiot screw Albon's race once again, the kid showed skills and was embarassing mr bigmouth....no love lost for Max, just thinking of Marko's face, lolololo. Bottas was impecable all weekend and deserved the win, but to me Chuck wa sclearly the driver of the day.....sEb..i better not comment!
Charles showing that, in the right hands, even pigs can fly. Vettel stuck for how many laps behind a *Williams*!! (until Russel's car died). Whatever that deal was between FIA and Ferrari, they took a whole corral of ponies away from the red cars. 45% attrition in the race? Plus Merc having to nurse the cars home. (No curbs) Methinks F1 wasn't really ready to get going. Old lesson from flying: too many distractions can screw up your pre-flight. So -- did Kimi's lug nut fail, or was that a pit error?
Charles kept his cool ,great result considering.Lando well that was mega too. Vettel really should just drive his motorhome back to Switzerland and stay there. He really has lost it.
