Even more impressive. Too bad today’s (open to public) gatherings/events can’t muster similar attendance with older (vintage) models, let alone “in-the-wild” (as intended) sightings.
Thank you to all of you whom shared these wonderful pictures from Pebble Beach week 1994. That brought a smile to my face...... I was there, working for Mr T. The days were long, mostly 20 hrs a day, no time for hanging around taking pictures. Way to many stories of all the challenges faced that week, it was always going to be a tall order showing up there with 22 cars and a skeleton crew. Myself being the only one with experience running cars on track. There is enough material for a book from behind the scenes that week...... So, it warms an enthusiasts soul to see all the pictures from what I fondly remember as a fantastic week. A week that finished on sunday morning when I drove 250 GTO # 3223 onto the green. The only picture I have was received recently by a photographer l know. He claims this is shared with him by Marcel, hence I see it fitting to post it in this thread. After all, keeping these cars running (road or track) was my job that week in 1994. Image Unavailable, Please Login

#6885... I meet 2 times Preston Henn but never saw his machine! Seems to be with good friends in co-pilote.
Great memories from these pictures and comments. The one and only time I made it to Monterey and Laguna Seca was in 1994. What great memories. Took my wife and 2 kids. We all had a great time. Thanks for posting.
I was there. My daughter, who was 10 at the time, and I drove our '69 365GT up from L.A. I took quite a few photos. Probably 50 with Ferrari's, and another 150 with normal cars. But they are all prints, so I need to scan them in order to post them. Here's a few to tide you over. I remember that we toured the track with the FOC during lunch break. I came in because my car was getting hot, probably because I was such a hot footed driver. On the way out of the track at the end off the day, my thermostat stuck closed. I had to pull it out on the side of the road, as a hundred thousand people filed by and nicely asked if I needed help. Luckily I had a tool box and got her going without too much drama, but a lot of sweat. Ah, the good old days. A few more for your Sunday coffee. If you have any pictures of a scruffy red/black 365GT that was there as well, I'd love to see them! I didn't carry a camera in those days. I think my wife might have, but taking pictures of cars was never her thing.
Is that it in the rear of this photo, on the right next to the pickup truck? This is all that I have. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What is the silver car S/N in post 204? Do not think I have seen that one before. Thanks...Ken Goldman
Ferrari GTO is #4713 looks 330 LMB #26 lulu Wang, so nice. Great event, small, but great event. Thank you for pictures.
Thanks, but not it. Also, mine has headrests. Oh well-- thought I'd try! It was a really fun time, for sure. I parked with FOC at the track, I think (I believe I joined FOC just so I could park in their area), and I remember just parking in the grass somewhere at the concours.
Well, in recent years Ferrari has had it's own annual display featuring dozens of cars with models from all decades at Pebble Beach.
