I would think most of you guys are using 93 or better but does anybody use or recommend using non-ethanol or even race gas?

91 non-ethanol. The non-ethanol feels like it hits (pulls) harder. Not drastically, but noticeably.

You own a Ferrari, so it's time to live the baller lifestyle.

Use the highest quality/octane you can find, preferably from a gas station in the ritziest neighborhood in your town, so you know it's fresh. 93 octane Shell V Power Nitro+ from Southlake, Texas for the win!

    You're kidding right???
    93 octane of course!!!
I alternate between 93 Shell nitro and 93 Mobil (latter gives a more bass exhaust sound)..
    Always use hugest octane!!

Nope. In California, we can only get (easily, anyway) 91 premium, which is a special low emission blend unique to our state. So this also means that if there’s a spot shortage, we can’t easily import fuel from neighboring states to shore up supplies. There are a handful of stations that sell 100 octane, but at a hefty price.

All we can get is 91 or 89 ethanol free which I have yet to try. Funny thing is that the Shell station here that I used to use religiously stopped carrying 91 octane about a year ago. I have no idea why, maybe the underground tanks are faulty, but it sucks. I just checked today and they have a placard over the 91 that says product not offered! ppppfffftttttt...

Ok, we need to demand universal 93 octane through these United States of America, People!!!

Our brothers and sisters in California and Arizona are suffering at 91 while we are luxuriating in 93... not fair

Is it legal to transport 93 across state lines ???

Does the 360 have knock sensors, to pull timing if detect predetonation?

    Does 360 have forged pistons?

Reasons to run high octane on 360-
    High compression
    High rpm
    High cost of repair

Yes, of course a joke and my apologies, assumed others would see it as such. Given how other less obvious questions result in the poster getting flamed I figured a joke was an appropriate response.

I guess many care to sit around and talk about gas octane without any relevant information as it pertains to measured power differences, timing/knocking, etc.

    Carry on..

China use the same 98, 95 and 95 gasoline, as in most of Europe.

The Chinese official 360 owner's manual calls for 95 or above
