I've done lots of work on mine - most of it invisible and reversible - to make it more like a modern car to drive. I'm not there yet, but it's given me hours of occupational therapy. I'm humming and hawing about your trick with the engine, that I shall not mention, mainly for fun throttle response, rather than outright power.
Yep, no induction roar from the Bosch CIS. Just need to calculate the dollars spent vs enjoyment received...
It'll never add up.... You either want to or you don't. Again, as you said, all reversible. It's only money and YOLO
I would have thought the multi-choke conversion will always have reasonable resale value, with so many 3x8's out there. Bolt it on, enjoy the car more, revert to stock when you're ready to sell the car, flip the kit.
Nice original phrase. Could a non owner make the assessment? Maybe... Like we all know a 360 is ****... Even without driving one.
