Hi all Have been losing power in the top of 3rd, and 4/5th gear. Adjusted linkage to add 1/2 inch of play to the pedal but the problem persists. Not sure what else to do other than get in and inspect/replace the clutch. Have seen a few options re kits and am unsure which would be best. If anyone has any experience w this, would be most appreciated! As for process, will be following Birdman’s guide here: http://www.birdman308.com/service/clutch/308_clutch_replacement.htm Clutch Kits: http://www.superformance.co.uk/308/clutch.html https://m.mrfiat.com/italian/ferrari/dino-208-308-gt4/clutch/ferrari-208-308-gt-4-gtb-gts-clutch-kit-8-cyl.html https://www.ferraripartsexchange.com/collections/ferrari-v8-2/clutch?page=2 thanks in advance for any advice! Spoke w AW Italian and they have this AP kit (KT 9058) in stock. Can get it to me in a day. Does anyone have any experience w this kit? Also anything else that makes sense to do while we’re replacing the clutch? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pilot bearing, rear main seal, throw out bearing, clutch disk and pressure plate. Inspection of the flywheel because you had slipping.
Unless you have a leak at the RMS, leave it alone. Do replace the three O rings at the bell housing. Inspect the flywheel but new ones are hard to come by, or used ones.
