After a 360, F430 Spider and a 458 Spider finally come to my senses and got this in my stable. My childhood dream! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats. I started the other way around lol. I bought a Testarossa first, and hoping to get a 458 before Christmas. Do you still have some of the other cars, or is this your main toy now? Would love to hear your opinions in comparison to the others, albeit they are very different cars.
Only got the Testarossa now. Where al great cars but the newer the F the less emotion I had with it. Also after driven the 488 and F8, it didn’t do it for me. The same with the F12 that I love in design but have to drive hard to get the emotion. So I decided to go for my childhood dream. I noticed I am still much more excited with Tessie then the others.

Exactly right... had mine out last night. Haven't driven it much at all since getting it. But yesterday, finally settled in. Seats are so comfortable. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I got mine last month. It’s my first exotic, but I can relate to fulfilling a childhood dream. I wouldn’t trade it for any of the modern cars either.
I always wanted a car with these modern double clutch gearshift. I have one now. It is a perfect technology. But it gave me one clear massage: nothing will ever replace my Testarossa and this feeling of driving a car so close to the origin of Ferrari.
It drives better then I expected. It drives like a dream when the weather is good and the engine is warm.
Maybe an unpopular view and don’t get me wrong, I love driving our fairly newly acquired and absolutely stunning 512M, but the modern cars we have are actually far better for driving. Put it this way, over an alpine pass or long road trip, our Speciale or Pista, or even 812 is a far better machine and much more enjoyable. The comment about driving a Ferrari much closer to what Enzo started with resonates though and there is an undeniable appeal about using more effort to travel much slower. Just sitting in the 512 is enough to justify its ownership. Then you start that magnificent engine and select first, drop the clutch. It’s pure theatre and a wonderful experience. For a car with its design origins nearly 40 years ago, boy is it good. So much better than expected. It’s just that the new cars are mesmerisingly good too.
I look at all the auctions on BAT and see the testarossa, when I look at the pics of the interior, it does look dated, but when I am sitting in my testarossa and driving it, the interior is actually just simply perfect and doesn't look dated to me at all... it helps that it's super clean, but it's just a perfect interior setup, except the drinking mouse belts. Id like to rip them out... as I said above the seats are super comfortable. The thing just drives amazing. not crazy fast off the line by today's standards, but I don't car for that. The car just goes. have a good weekend.
The interior has got all what you need and needs nothing more. The airconditioning works great. It is very comfortable for short and long trips. It looks and sounds stunning. What else do you need?!
Image Unavailable, Please Login I have a F430 and a 87 TR. When we take both out to drive I always grab the TR keys. The 430 does everything better but I still love the old school feeling. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
