I think some people prefer no stripe. Not sure about leather. History/records issue?

How much you think a stripe is worth nowadays?

I’m no expert on it, and haven’t tracked the math.
Same car side by side one with and one w/o....I’d venture to say $20k -$40k?
For me, I didnt consider w/o factory stripe so $ didnt matter.

Your estimate is right on with what my local F-dealer suggested.

    Historically it was around $20k.

I guess stripes are appreciating in value. Lol.

I agree. But it’s just supply and demand. There are fewer with the strip than without. If only a few were delivered without the stripe the stripeless would carry the premium.

Installing isn't that easy... The stripe should be under the clear coat, if you want to come close to a factory delivery result. And a stripe on top of the clear coat doesn't have the same shine.
Btw, when the car was delivered, when new, with or without stripe, you can read it in the original order/factory documents that came with the car.
All the options the first owner ordered are mentioned in this document.

If it’s not on the original window sticker...... it’s not OEM.

Let's update this for 2020... In terms of adding or subtracting value: What is the consensus on leather vs alcantara seats? Radio vs No Radio? Any other options? We have a number of people that posted recently for stripe vs no stripe, but obviously others feel free to chime in as well.

    I'll speak for our car:
    - we were looking for a no stripe car (didn't have anything to do with value, just a personal preference of my Dad), I agree a stripe adds value, how much, I'd say $10-20k depending on spec.
    - We were looking for a low mileage car and finding a sub 5k mile car was not easy 5 years ago and still isn't today.
    - Originally we wanted red/black alcantara, but feel in love with the tan leather seats that our car has. I think in a rare spec leather "may" add value over alcantara, but a good condition interior in Black/Red alcantara is what these cars were originally known for and is the iconic look.
    - In terms of the radio, for us it didn't matter one way or the other.

Its hard to believe these cars are nearing 20 years old now. In the next several years, I think condition is going to be more and more important than individual options/specs. Its hard to be selective when there are so few examples.

Leather v Alcantara = personal preference. Doesn’t matter to me
Radio = I don’t like the radio as I think it’s an ugly, Mickey Mouse install. Mine has no radio. If I want music I drive with my AirPods.
Stripe =. I like the car both ways. Depends on the photo. Mine has no stripe. I wouldn’t pay a premium for stripe but do like the stripe.

Personally, I believe the specs of how the cars were presented back in Geneva , 2003, are attractive for many CS lovers, and potential buyers.
Mine, a 2004 Rosso Scuderia CS, has factory stripe, black/red alcantara seats, no radio, red 4-point racing harness, a black leather upholstered rollbar (the two latter not legal in the US I believe). Apart from the side windows (glass on mine) it is exactly the same spec as the striped red Geneva model.
Btw, I love blue and yellow CS's as well! But the stripe is somehow a must, put that's personal.
The Stradale was the first (modern era) road car were the Tricolore stripe was an official option. It reminiscented the glorious striped race cars from the past, so it became fashionable.
The CS with stripe set a standard somehow.
Now, today, image a Pista without stripe(s), that would be unthinkable.

Mine couldn't be more different from the Geneva motorshow : Grigio Titanio, leather seats, normal belts, radio and of course no stripe. But I still like it :)
