A few years and a bit more worn! With EagleKlaw hold-downs, pre-installation (once you have them fastened, put the mats in place and literally stomp on them to engage the klaws in the carpet; they don’t move around anymore!). Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
You made me get them. Exceptional quality and beautiful. Thanks ! Almost too good to be under my feet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just heard from him mine are coming Monday! I’ll post pictures up. So, you’re saying may have to drive shoes off.

I just got my new HRE wheels yesterday. Too bad it is getting cold here in the northeast. I did drive with the top down yesterday. I just had to wear a hat and put the heat up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Todd I only got to ride it a few miles and I went fairly slow because of the new tires and didn't notice a difference from stock on the ride. I hope to test them out more if the weather holds up.
I really like the way they fill out the fenders. I don't mind the Starfish wheels but it does kinda bug me they way they are tucked in the fenders. I see where folks have used spacers to push them out a bit. But the HREs look perfect.
I think you get what you pay for. I bought a set for my last car and they where extremely well built. Did your car have the original starfish on it before the HREs? Just curious how much lighter the HRES would be over the fish?
Yes, I did have the starfish wheels on the car when I bought it. There was some minor damage which was one of the reasons I bought the new wheels. My estimate is that there are about 70 to 75 percent of the weight of the original wheels or about 5 to 7 pounds lighter per wheel.
Bought mine this weekend as well but I flew in and drove it home. Eight hours well spent! Upgraded sound also and no stickies. It does have 63,000 miles with service history and it is as clean as it looks. Also a gated shifter. I paid $70k so I guess miles are a HUGE factor. Love it! Enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
You defiantly got a hell of a lot of car for $70K! Cant go wrong with red. And a gated on top of that. They only problem with mine is she is making me want another one. Already scouting out Testarossas and 512TRs! My next one will most definitely be red and tan.!
There seems to be a lot of Red/Tan haters out there lately. So, it's good to see there are some that still appreciate this color combination
other than the mcdonald's 599, i have yet to see any factory combo that really makes me feel the bile rising. no flies on red/tan at all.
My R8 was Jet Blue over Tuscan and I really liked the color combination because it was so different. But when It came time to purchasing a Ferrari the only color I considered was red over tan. That was just my personal preference. The one I ended up with is a Euro model with the Crema interior and I couldn't be happier. The fact that mine came with 19" HRE three piece wheels was just an added bonus for me. They are all great, especially to the individual owner.
I really love the color of my 360 but if I’m lucky enough to find the right Rossa/512TR I think Red n Tan has to be the color! I might entertain White n Tan (Miami Vice) Baby!? I’m also looking at Diablo VT Roadsters same colors but I think a White on white Lamborghini would be my 80s dream car. Either way I’ll own a V12 before passing on! The suspension geometry is such that pushing the wheels out to fill the wells often causes the tires to hit the fender lips when the car is cornered hard. Even starfish wheels will cause that unless the fenders are rolled. Since I like taking corners hard, I’ve resisted changing out for more aggressive wheels. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Makes sence. Ill probably "try" to keep this one mostly original. That will also allow me to stat gathering money for whatever will join her in the garage next. LOL. I do not see me getting rid of her as she is pretty much the perfect package for driving.!
