I have owned three Arctic White Vettes, two Torch Red Vettes, and one Watkins Glen Gray Vette. Arctic White and Torch Red are my two top colors for the C8, but will strongly consider the available silver. I have always wanted a silver Vette, so I look forward to seeing this silver in person.
Did you consider aftermarket? So you can't just get the car delivered with the optional wheels and you're stuck with an unwanted set of wheels? Is that how it works? .
for some reason, yes. I’ll end up with an unwanted set of wheels. I’ll use them at the track if I take the car there.

Great looking new C8. Being an old guy, I still like brighter wheels, but I know I'm probably in the minority now. Hoping my Dec 15th Museum Delivery is still on go after the 2 day hold at the factory for parts.
Some of us do not like black wheels. I see it as a personal choice and easily changed. ( I do like matte gold wheels on some cars)
Picked up the car. I can’t post any impressions until I get through the break in period but this is one of the coolest cars I’ve ever been in. Not a chance I’m selling it. I’ll post some pics this weekend. Looks so good with the black wheels.
And then there’s always this........... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It’s finally started. I’m getting call from some dealers who are taking ten and even $15,000 off their initial asking price, now instead of 20 to 30,000 over sticker it’s 10 to 20.
Completely agree. Soon you can get one at MSRP with some negotiation. The trick will be though to find one that you really want as they still will be in short supply. Pickings will still be slim because they have a long back log of customer ordered cars to fill. And convertibles like hen's teeth. Only about 15% of the cars made are convertibles.
The vette sales cycle. New model in short supply, then 2-3 years out high pwered verions get all the cation, 5 yeras out theyre all at discount, 5-6 years new version comming great deals to be had. Or something like that, will be inetresting to see how this one sustains. Wiht the coming electric/hybrid mandate for california in 2030 2029 may be a huge year for the last of the nA vetets if theyre stilla round.
Top Gear reviews the C8 in Britain Corvette C8 review: new Stingray arrives in Britain | Top Gear Once again, reviewers are testing cars that have less than 500 miles. They're not getting accurate performance times because the torque is limited, but they still really liked it, amazing for Brits.

If they throw a 600 hp NA engine in the Z06 it’s over. Literally. The tech and UI are so good in this car compared to the competition. It looks beyond cool in person. So far the only thing I don’t like is the 500 mile break in period.
I heard a rumor that GM is cracking down on dealers who are asking for a surcharge . Rumor is they will be cut in their allocations . Just have to wait and see. 2021's are just about sold out.
