Here is my 65. It is a numbers matching black/silver car (very rare original color combination). I put a 383 with a beefed up 4 speed auto in it and redid the interior with great seats. I can spin the tires in both first and second but the 383 is just a test mule. I am currently rebuilding the original 327 with lots of specialty race parts and turning it into a 396 small block in homage to the 65s that had 396 big blocks. Only mine will be about 50 lbs lighter and have at least 50 more ft lbs and hp. Trying to keep it mostly original looking but a sleeper. Last week at a RainyRoadAtlanta race with HSR. Look closely at the graphics on the rear quarter panel. It's a Prancing horse morphing into the Ford Pony. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are your KO's bolt ons? Cuz your actual knock off spinners are on in two different directions. Not a huge deal if they are just cosmetic, but if not its an issue...ask me how I know If they are true knock off's (OEM or repops), your rears are on the wrong sides.
Thanks. No they are fake bolt ons. I also fixed the rears. I took the picture just after I got the car back from the tire shop and didn’t notice it until later. Scary that you had an issue with real KOs! That would not be fun.

Beautiful El Camino, but you have to DRIVE these things. I drive my 65 at least every other day (when not driving my Ferrari). Nothing better than cruising in the 65. Every single time I go out somebody asks me what year it is and complements it. Everybody loves old school. If not for you, drive it for them! (By the way—I love the man cave!)
Image Unavailable, Please Login Just picked this up. 2014 Raptor with only 31,000 miles, one owner, older gentleman who bought it new. I sold my 2013 Raptor to Carvana back in September, it had 96,000 miles on it and they gave me almost $33,000! I missed having a truck so when the 2014 became available I jumped at it, and it was a private sale between myself and the owner. Image Unavailable, Please Login
