Low miles, 2011, nice colour. https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2011-ferrari-599-gtb-hgte But, questions: 1) Has it been lowered? 2) Look at the driver’s seat. Does that tally with such low mileage? Given the car has “no history” for the first few years. Compare for example to the immaculate seat on this car which has more than twice the miles https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=313695273
seat bolster wear is significantly less a factor of mileage on the clock than it is a factor of how the owner performs ingress/egress. looks like they probably would grab the bolster to support/aid in getting out of the vehicle.
Maybe You have right. But still my drivers seat afther 76000km is in far better condition Wysłane z iPhone za pomocą FerrariChat
Meanwhile here’s a nice looking LHD OTO up for auction here in the UK. did they all have HGT2 pack? https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2009-ferrari-612-scaglietti-one-to-one
Which makes it a really nice OTO. LHD now a bit of a problem in the UK though. Otherwise I might be tempted.
Yes..on the one hand I can’t think of a better family car for the price. And don’t mind LHD. But post Brexit taxes mean they will be very significantly harder to sell on here. And then there’s the auction factor of no warranty. But such a nice car.
HGTE models have the Recaro race seats so the side bolsters protrude more than the normal GTB seats. If the former owner liked to wear heavy denims with protruding rivets (regardless of being fat or slim) or trousers made from abrasive material, that'll damage the seat/side bolsters immediately. Likewise if any HGTE owner is not careful during ingress / egress, those extended seat bolsters can become a painful detriment to one's "family jewels"! Been there, done that when my HGTE was new to me.
Has to to be 15 years old for Canadian import without restrictions last I heard. 25 years for the US.
Definitely a careless and "fat" previous owner to cause that kind of wear with that mileage. I do like the stance, and definitely lowered. I would like to do that to mine. Has anyone lowered their 599 with a spanner wrench and stock suspension?
