LB/LB Spider, 812 VS/812 VS Aperta, maybe new XX? Maybe new Icona? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
f167 is 812 Successor? Front or mid-rear engine? what is the Testarosa Revival? what is the F40 icona,I was confused!
There are a couple of rumors going on and everyone is as confused, only a couple of people are in the know and seems like they don’t won’t to speak up just now. Should be an exciting few years and I’m looking forward to see what Ferrari has up their sleeve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lets hope board room is on a good path, including: 1. Covid has knocked sense into their stupid heads about producing too many cars 2. New CEO has enough sense to find right balance of maintaining exclusivity and need for profit 3. Announce right now that Covid issues have resulted in permanent reduction of production levels 3. Dump all the bad news (and there is plenty not yet revealed to Wall Street) into one quarterly statement
The decrease in production is not the main problem ... the main problem is that they still make exciting cars. Anyway, with future ****..g hybrids, production will naturally drop.
Hello everyone, Merry Christmas! Do you have any ideas about the new 812 VS « official » name? Maybe 812 MM, 812 Inter or 812 Europa? Let me know! Best, Hugo
Top Contenders for 812 VS name ... in order of probability ... are as follows: 1. 812 Competizione 2. 812 Evoluzione 3. 812 Daytona 4. 812 GTO 5. 812 Mille Miglia
I don’t think they’ll use GTO again since it was recently used on the 599 and the new Omologato one-off. Then again, all speculation I don’t know for sure.
It would be nice if they did use GTO - could be the last time they build a non-hybrid, non-turbo, lightweight, front-engined V12 that isn’t a £2m Icona model. GTO would be great, though I suspect they will keep it for a 250 GTO Icona recreation. At first I thought Daytona would be good, especially given the standard car’s inspiration being the Daytona. But ‘Daytona’ was never an official Ferrari name but a common nickname. For this ‘last hurrah’, perhaps it isn’t right? I think MM could be the most fitting. If this is the end of an era, it is an era where races like the MM, TDF and Le Mans formed the history of lightweight, large-engined, racing come road cars. The F12 remembers the Tour de France, surely the greatest of all, and the most Italian, is the Mille Miglia? 812MM? I’ll have mine in red please!
