I recently bought a superb 550. I know they develop sticky buttons etc, but how does one resolve/replace the affected parts? Many thanks Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Tom, can we see which 550 you bought? Your profile doesn’t show if you are in the US? Sticky no more and Sticky Rx are forum sponsors and are on the east coast.
Hi, yes the car is in the us. Fl. a rare sebring blue with tan interior. Its 97 car Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Welcome - nice color - as noted above as well as the two sponsors there many many threads from folk who have done the work themselves (albeit with varying results) - try a search on 'sticky'
The car lived in nyc for years, then CT. i found her in FL. love the color. How do i find out how many were sebring blue with cuoio? I was told 27. But how do i check? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I’ll go look at the registry in Nathan’s book. If it’s 27 for all years I’d be shocked? this past week I was looking at Bianco and Grigio Ingrid both extremely rare if not loved by many.
Tom I wonder if yours is not in the registry… There are a few blanks… I’ll count all of the blue sebring cars out but there’s only two shown for 1997… What is your chassis number.... I thought it might be 108979 but that shows a tan interior… And if you got that car I’m going to be extremely jealous also… Curious what was the method you use to find this specific car? and lastly on your profile it looks like you and I turn 47 only 12 days apart so in advance happy birthday... that’s an awesome early birthday present! It let me edit and come back after I scanned Nathan's registry.....I could have missed one and there are a few blanks and occasionally one isn't on the list but here is what I saw at a quick scan for Blu Sebring.... 1997 #108709 1997 #108979 1998 #111697 EURO Car 1999 #116694 2000 #118276 2000 #119249 2000 #120827 2001 #123846 2001 #124142 Barchetta So yes....extremely rare.
Mine is 108709! I bought get in march this year from an Italian friend of mine. He had it for sale in miami for a while. No buyers!! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
34k I didn’t over pay for it and since i’m seeing greater interest for manual v12. For me its a no brainer. The last analog v12. I’m not a fan of later cars all marks. I have a few cars the oldest being an American Lafrance. But yes. Love the colour combo. And happy birthday as well!! Ha what are the odds Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Excellent! FWIW the registry shows your car as having alloy calipers and shields. Many don't care for them but I really like the shields. Also I should have noted... if you found/bought #108979 that is one my wife wouldn't have given me grief about as that's Steve Young's old car. Congrats and looking forward to hearing more from you on the forum!
Indeed thank you. Actually it doesn’t have the shields on the wings but alloy callipers yes! Speak soon and thanks for the chat Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yep! He still does. ;-) 108979, Blu Sebring 503/C, Blu Scuro 3282 over Beige 4208, Blu carpet 168. Supposedly, this is the former Steve Young car, but I have never seen that confirmed. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
