yea, but my experience told me the same Maserati part has more than 50% chance of being more expensive than its ferrari counterpart.

 

Great idea! Lambo forum has a similar “cross reference” thread for compatible Audi parts and it is super useful! Probably a fair amount of compatible Alfa and fiat parts too!

 

The 430 side repeater indicator (the small circular one) is the identical part used on the Fiat coupe (175 designation) which was produced from 93-00
Interestingly, the interior of that car was designed by Pininfarina

 

Most of them could be found cheaper than even buying from Maserati, as both brands use a lot of Bosch, etc.

For a quick check go to Eurospares, they sell both Maserati and Ferrari parts. I looked at coils and they're the same price. As time goes by there are proportionately fewer Maserati's because many were used as daily drivers and their low price caused deferred maintenance so they're not on the road any more. The biggest difference is that a Maserati owner, versus an F430, has nearly $100,000 in his pocket to buy parts.

 

There are many Alfa/Fiat/Lancia parts that are identical to the more expensive Ferrari part, and generally about half the cost. F1 Accumulator, F1 Pump Head, etc.

 

A lot of Alfa Romeo 4C parts are also identical to Ferrari parts ...
