Here are the specific releases current and pending: 812SF Icona SP1 and SP2 812GTS 812VS 812VS Aperta Purosangue But people will still say SuperFast was last release as was said about the Italia. There can be only one last release.
The problem with hybrid I pointed out years ago. You will drive the NA V12 into extinction which is not desired from some Ferrari enthusiast's point of view. Add a motor and battery but shrink the engine. Then increase the battery and motor so decrease the engine some more. Then remove the no longer needed engine to save weight and money. After all, you don't need it and who cares about sound. Get with the times! Would be great if they kept it slowly developing for at least special releases.
I am sure you are right, some of the flex they had was used on the GTS engine/GPF to keep power the same as non GPF. With no factual basis I was assuming a mild hybrid (Lambo style) would be used on the VS. Probably wide of the mark. So normally you would think weight is the real target , that will be interesting to see . But they are good at these things , and extensive bodywork changes are probably due. The mule car suggests lots of work at the rear.
Valid point. And I want the last of the last for collector value and so I don’t feel I missed out. I was hoping the last Porsche GT3 was the last and now I have to figure out how to get an allocation for the next last N/A 911 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Strongly believe we will now have pics ( officially ) ‘leaked ‘ within the next 4 weeks - no solid evidence just hear from a few different (semi?) informed sources that activity On the VS front increasing rapidly ...
...also I have a v strong suspicion that 1 of the 2 launch cars will be a triple yellow ( like the tdf) but more likely a triple layer white ..... Bianco MM...?
Not sure if any potential vvip customers have been contacted yet but I think unlikely ( unless anyone can advise ?)...
Most have been contacted. The only ones left are the ones at the borderline. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I would assume in this case that contact would have to come from Maranello since no dealers have allocations for a car that has yet to be announced?
Perhaps in the US. What I know for Switzerland is that dealers have put together lists of prospective buyers that have shown strong interest and intention to buy but this does not mean that they will be offered a car. Dealers do not have details on the car (will be two models) and have not received the usual lists that the factory sends once it has shown a limited series with the names of clients that will be offered the car in the first phase. Perhaps Mr Massini or others have different info, this is what I’ve got Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
