My newest old bike. It’s 1954 all over again![ATTACH]
Recently have been going through another 748RS that I bought in an estate sale. It was in parts but everything was there. It is a real RS from Ducati Corse and I think it might be the last one they made. I need to make a couple of small changes still but I am really pleased with how awesome it goes. Hopefully I can raid enough old spare parts bins from some race teams to tweak the last couple of things I want to tweak. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like old harleys and old sport bikes! I restored the harleys, currently restoring a 48 panhead and an 86 gsxr 1100, the honda is unrestored. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

My custom hardtail Harley Originally this was a 1975 Electra glide. Not many original parts are left. 1982 1340cc shovelhead engine. Baker 6into4 transmission. RB racing exhaust. 1954 fuel tanks, 600x16 Firestone tire at the rear ( car tire ) And me on my 1953 Lambretta ( long time ago I drove thru Florence and Lucca Tuscany on this little scooter. I am 6,5 and Italians where even smaller back then when it was new. The scooter is 125cc and maybe 4hp and top speed is 70 kmh ( on a good day and down hill )
I got these photos off my Smugmug account for a different thread, so I might as well add them here. This bike started off as a 1994 BMW R1100RS, and me and a genius mechanic friend got the idea to make it more versatile. It got way out of hand, with many thousands of dollars spent and many man-hours of time invested. Hardly any BMW's get modded, so this is a very unique ride. Still have it, and now I'm finally in a position to do the finishing touches (mostly paint, but it needs a new instrument cluster). This is what it originally looked like (Not my bike). It's about fifty pounds lighter than stock, and the wheelbase is an inch or so shorter. I'm 6'2"and can ride this bike all day. Handles like a dream, and will unintentionally wheelie now! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login As I mentioned, it needs to be all black, and I need new gauges, but also Ohlins GS suspension, and an aux tank to replace the pillion seat (I plan to make it look like an OEM rear tank, complete with the correct BMW locking lid). With another set of wheels, it should be fine for light off road stuff. It is super tall though, and VERY hard to pick up if you drop it. I have a 35" inseam, so I can keep the seat in the highest position, which keeps my legs relaxed, but not a bike for short guys. Now that I have the place in Colorado, I'm finally motivated to finish it up.
A little Italian buddy joined the HD today after a spirited LA to PHX drive. A few cm³ down on the Harley, but about x3 the horsepower, the rpm and the top speed! 2020 MV Agusta F3 800. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
