Hello friends, like briefly mentioned in another thread I learned the hard way of life last week. After a horror night from Monday 18th to Tuesday 19th with being reanimated twice because of heart and lung failure after a cardiogenic shock, immobilised inside the intensive care unit the I now have a lot of time to think about what's really important in life. So please folks. Take the many smaller and a bigger hassles with your F-Cars with that they deserve. Relaxation and fun. BTW. Nothing to do with Covid-19, but nevertheless the most scary situation I ever experienced. Sorry for lamenting, but I just needed a 'mental valve'. Best Regards though Martin
God that you are doing well, what caused the problems? And this is a mildly funny bit about English, we would say that you were resuscitated. Reanimated brings to ind Frankenstein's monster. ;-)
HOLY CRAP!!! Glad you are okay. “Reanimation” must be a horrible process with all the lightening bolts and stuff. More seriously, glad you made it through the ordeal. Yeah, it's too easy to take things for granted. There is so much for which to be grateful. You are a good guy.
So sorry to hear this Martin! Glad you're here with us now to share this post and help us all keep things in perspective. Be well!
Martin, that must have been quite frightening! I'm very glad that you're recovering and OK. Thank you for the reminder to focus on what's really important. Best of luck for a speedy recovery, Gordon
Mensch Martin, was machst Du denn für Sachen! Ich wünsch Dir gute und schnelle Genesung. Robert (sorry guys for writing in German language – just means 'get better soon!')
If you have ever seen the bruises the chest paddles leave, "reanimated" is the more accurate, IMO Get Well soon Martin! After my crash, everyone exclaimed "you're lucky to be alive!" "Well, we ALL are, that's the baseline of Presbyterianism!" Martin might be Lutheran he will "get it"... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I bought my 308 after having my heart attack, at Forty-nine, for exactly those reasons you state. Glad that you are still with us and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Let me fix this... Good that you are doing well, what caused the problems? And this is a mildly funny bit about English, we would say that you were resuscitated. Reanimated brings to mind Frankenstein's monster. Same thought just easier to translate.
