    Keeping it simple. Either Burger King for an original chicken sandwich combo. On sale for $5. Or Wendy's has a bacon cheeseburger on for $4. Don't feel like cooking. Want fast and easy.

    Looks delicious. Hillstone has the best pork chop, but it comes with mustard on top and I get it on the side.

    Thanks. The pizzas were really good. Wouldn't have worked with a regular lemon, but the Meyers I got from F-chatter NbyNW were just perfect, especially the one with the prosciutto...T

    Was trying to figure out something to toss together Had some chicken, some pepperoni, cheese, and tomatoes. Eh, voila....chicken pepperoni pizza bake casserole. No crust, just what I listed with some onion and spices. Pretty tasty if I do say so myself!

    Ended up getting a Whopper at Burger King. Every Weds the Whopper is $2. Got an order of onion rings and mozzarella sticks. They forgot the marinara sauce for the sticks, wasn't happy about that.

    Trying to get my family into Chinese for tonight. Or if not I'll do sushi.

    The Boston roll at the Japanese restaurant I've been going to is different. Its spicy scallops, crab meat, avocado, cucumber and smoked salmon on top. Its my new favorite roll. Messy though.

    Homemade jalapeño... those sound good. Wegmans run yesterday and they were out. Wife was going to make a jalapeño treat. Next time.

    Lately Kroger has been selling ginormous jalapeños. Not as much heat or my taste buds are getting cauterized in my old age!

    I hot brine them. Salt, pepper, brown sugar, crushed red pepper, Apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, dill, a little EVOO, water. Boil to dissolve as much as possible, and then everybody into the pool! Usually good to go within a day or so...T

    Yesterday was my SIL's birthday.............. We don't buy adults birthday presents, we take family members out to dinner at a restaurant of the birthday persons choice. SIL is Chinese and is somewhat picky. She'll eat Japanese, Vietnamese and naturally Chinese. She doesn't like anything else. We are taking her out for dinner, she wants Chinese in Richmond. She does the ordering, she speaks the language. She orders stuff that's mostly authentic Chinese. Have no idea what I'm eating, but its good.

    Think I've said it before. Richmond has one of the highest percentage of population of immigrants. 60%. The majority is from mainland China originally. Bus stops in Richmond have Chinese on them and the ads are in Chinese. Net, the restaurants are very authentic Chinese there. Probably the best outside of Asia for restaurants.
