Scale model delivery: My SF was delivered Jun2019 and the model arrived sometime last summer. My sense was they do these in lots, so the timing isn't necessarily predictable.

 

Also a color lithograph of your car with the chassis number.

HA , it is funny because the dealer was holding onto all my goodies because the car wasnt even here

So i would use us as an example of time.

I will say you will get them. Just remember they go to the dealer except for the leather pouch and thank you letter.

BTW if you look at my model it has the correct colour Rosso Corsa Metallizzato. I compared it to my mates RC and you can see the difference side by side. They are spot on accurate.

The box is a cigar humidor and the funny black thing with the holes is to absorb distilled water, then magnetically attaches to the logo inside the lid. The display platform for the key and silver car model can sit outside the humidor, or on top of it or inside of it if you do not put cigars in there. But it is a crying shame to not use a humidor for its intended purpose!

 

You are the first one that I know has had the F8 model. For a while I thought the F8 was not part of this treat. So with that said, I am looking forward to have my little mini me F8. I have had the car for 7 months now. So any time now...

 

Received my model about 2 months ago, so you will eventually get it.

 

Sure if you can convince the original owner to give it up!

 

MR Collection in Italy builds these for Ferrari. They have a website where you can spec your model to match your car. I did it for the used Pista I bought, they even matched the custom stripe. Curious how much? For some reason mine got lost during the height of the pandemic; dealer has tried to locate to no avail.

 

I believe it was around $500, not cheap, but the real car wasn’t either. The website prices out your spec.

I had gotten my Portofino in June 2019 and received the humidor and silver plated model in March, but somehow my 1:43 painted scale model was given to another client at another dealership?? So, my dealership got them to make another one for my lost one which I got June 2020.

My Pista coupe came in January of 2020 and still haven't gotten the box, silver nor painted model yet. My Pista spider came June 2020 and nothing for this car yet either. My dealership is looking into things but I'm not optimistic at all. Supposedly, once the new ordered car is sold, this prompts Ferrari's system to process the painted model to be sent to the dealership who then gives it to the client.

Only thing that is consistent with Ferrari is that they are inconsistent all around.
