I would happily have one as a family car if I could, so I’m hoping they do plummet. A first gen a few years down the track might be attractive. The dealer indicated they’d be delivering ten in the next week, and this is one of three dealers in Melbourne, so hopefully strong sales ongoing. I much rather seeing this direction from the brand than the SUVs.
Doubt it, my pics were from Thursday evening in ACT, no way they would ( could ?) fly a car to FNQ. My guess is that every dealer was dropped shipped the same model / config / colour by Porsche for corporate consistency.
White with those wheels are very close to the look of the Mission E concept, so I think you’re on the money, this is most likely how they want the car to be seen.
Yeah Nah...Not a fan...I’d rather throw my money on a bonfire...Which I’ve done before with Porsches...
This'd be something of a weapon: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/broadbeach-waters/cars-vans-utes/porsche-1971-genuine-911-s-rsr-recreation-/1270131959
Gee, a genuine recreation. Talk about a rising tide lifting all ships! Silly signature here to annoy KIAI
Ran into Tristan at the Porsche club at Lorbeck this morning, hopefully he got better photos than I did. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Too busy staring at the carbon weave to even think of pulling out the camera. It’s an interesting car, extremely beautiful craftsmanship, but the fact it will never be used as a race car, can't go on the road etc, puts it in a weird place.
Wes's new classic GG ride? Looks like it has overdeveloped suspension...great for those 'difficult' parking situations..... https://www.grays.com/lot/0001-20008128/classic-cars/1978-ferrari-400i-automatic-coupe?spr=true
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147848358/ Indeed, I am amazed how popular the Taycan is. Porsche must have been confident, as they spent $$$$ on a dedicated Taycan production line in Stuttgart, (some articles in the Porsche Christophorous magazine about it) My friend Tim (who passed away last year) placed an order for one, which his widow is still proceeding with. Due for delivery in the 3rd Q 2021.
Its the future and so many are now liking the idea . Sad to read about your friend ,good on his wife taking delivery .
