Very nice find! But the car is quite modified in the few years before the lock down of 65 years (tail lights, vents, hood). And even the wood of the steering wheel has vanished. Water, fire or fungus? Or all three? Ciao Oscar
What do you expect after 65 years in storage like this? Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Okay Romano but if the Sprint Speciale came only in 1959, it must be the other way: it's the Alfa that looks like the Ferrari.
One thing I find remarkable is how long this car was asleep. 65 years ago 0243 EU was a few years old, at best. Essentially a new car, tucked away for all this time. I for one cannot wait to learn more of this story.
My daughters in the 212 export 0128E......some time ago. It is a Vignale btw. ciao Oscar Image Unavailable, Please Login
carros was clearly modified (grill behind the front wheels and airintake on the hood) in the years... are there pictures of the car before it dissapeared in storage (including the modifications)
Yes, I have quite a few period bw pix but will not post here (copyrights). Thanks for understanding. Marcel Massini
