Thanks just gorgeous in person, my salesman said it was the best spec he had ever seen and his PPF guy said the same. He has been beating back people who wanted to buy it.
Gorgeous! Not a cab fan, but great car nevertheless. I hate how they changed the previous shift lever for that USB thumbdrive looking thing! They have to something about that!
Well your car looks absolutely fantastic ,the exterior color you chose is a great complement to the interior, so far one of the best 992 Turbo S's I have seen well done!
if anyone confuses a GT2 from any other GTs, then let them be. They dont need to be in the know to begin with. To me, GT2 is just such beautiful car that is just so different from the rest.
I am with you. When I am asked, I just say, it is an another model of 911. Some ask if it is a special edition. I say sort of.
Hi, I'm a Porsche guy as well and also own some 911 turbo. No offense at all but in 1997, at least in Europe, the greys were "arctic silver" (my 993) and "polar silver" (a little bit blue). The "GT Silver" was the grey of the 2003 Carrera GT launch and is available since the 2006 997.1 turbo on the 911. (Got one as well) Anyway big congrats I love your stable! P.
Yes I am aware of that see my post #30. Just meant it’s the same as in Silver exterior with Red interior.
Very nice. The last 911 that actually looked like a 911. Think long and hard before you make that switch. The 993 and 992 would be a nice pair though. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
When do you when do you pick up your car? Is it this coming week? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Thinking about it atm but most probably I will pick the GT3 Touring or GTS since I plan to use it as winter car as well.
So I now have 200 miles on the TTS and a few more observations. Launch control is insane and the best way to enjoy the acceleration of the TTS, no wheel spin just pins you back in the seat and your gone. If you are just cruising in Sport (which is the best normal mode) and mash the throttle there is a bit of turbo lag that you don’t experience in the F8. The F8 does seem a lot faster, using fastest laps data the F8 is about 1.6 seconds faster to 150 mph. Love all the features the TTS has that the F8 doesn’t. The distronic cruise control is great on a 2 lane road with traffic. If you put all the driver assist stuff on it will basically drive itself for about 15 seconds and then ask for you to take over. You grab the wheel and let go and the car takes back over. For a long boring drive to visit a relative full autonomous driving in the future will be great. Overall I would never trade my F8 for the TTS, the F8 is an occasion kind of vehicle while the TTS is probably the best daily driver for what I need. Fast, convertible, new tech, and all wheel drive for the nasty Michigan Winters.
Thanks Buddy! I’m expecting to DD my TTS. So glad to hear you like it from an everyday standpoint. The 765LT will be the experience car.
For the reasons you state, I am/was thinking about one, too, as an upgrade to my 991.1 turbo. But I think I waited too long as allocations seem to be drying up. Congrats on yours! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
