F430 F1 Gearbox Auto Reverse Plate

So I recently had to have my actuator rebuilt. One intermittent issue was getting the car into reverse. So during the removal, rebuilding and reinstallation of the actuator, the reverse button-switch was checked as best as possible. After all was said and done, it seemed to be working fine. This made me look into buying a new switch. Well, I learned that my 05 had a “Jaeger Version” of this plate assembly and it only can be bought as a complete unit. So instead of buying a new one, I was able to find and buy a nice used-working unit. I have been going through the whole sticky refinishing of interior parts. Also because the gauge surround was flaking paint, I got my hands on a used carbon fiber surround. Thanks to information on Ferrari Chat, I changed out that part. I also switched the silver F1 paddles to carbon fiber. So looking at my interior I thought why not change the steering wheel silver section to carbon fiber ??? Well I have that on order !!! Last but not least, I decided to look into the gearbox plate being black to match the mirror, hazard flasher and parking light switch plate and also the ashtray. No luck. I decided that since I have a spare, I’d try it myself !!!!! I love it.
It took some experimentation, but I’m very happy. Can’t wait for the steering wheel piece.

Hello John,
Can you post a picture of the back ?
I’m assuming that there’s two different ones. One for Jaeger and one for Digitek. My Jaeger buttons have to be able to mount.
The picture I posted is Digitek, NOT like I need. I can’t find a Jaeger back picture.
If it’s for Jaeger, I’d buy it. How much ?

You might try some of the exotic auto recycler places !!!

After looking at this, it just might be able to work. I’ll be home Monday evening and I’m going to double check the back of a Jaeger plate. If I think it would work, I’d be interested in buying it from you.
