    Hi gang, question:
When I drive my Cali T I usually have the left screen on the temperatures display. Today I had it on pressure and battery level and I noticed when I’m in manual mode and I step on it the meter gets very close to the red. Is that ok or maybe a concern? Thnx.

I looked at mine yesterday, stepping on the gas would make it dip at first from the middle range. Allowing the car to rev down with no brakes from, say, 5000 rpm — engine braking — it would rise and approach the red, but not enter it. Battery is a year old and it’s always on the maintainer.

Thnx, so it sounds like this is normal. Mine, too, gets really close to red but doesn't enter it-wasn't sure if that's normal.

    Mine is also a 2016 Cali T.

Which meter goes near red? Oil pressure or battery voltage?

I don't think any of my meter goes near red but I can check for you.

Thnx. Yeah the battery will hang normal around 14 but then randomly push close to red. It won’t go into red but randomly go close to 15.

I just went for a 5 hour drive today and I confirm my battery / alternator meter does the same thing.
The needle wound venture near redline from time to time but would not enter redline.

Looks like its normal for our cars.
