Just wondering do the extended paddles if you want to use wipers or high beams result in an up or down shift?? Reason being i read from an aftermarket supplier on the 599 this would occur
Finally, someone is brave enough to say it - I waited years to see this post. With the bigger paddles there is not enough gap between them and the stalks for you fingers to pass by. I dare not suggest the solution as the "can not mod" contingent will start building a bonfire on which to burn my wretched soul for uttering such heresy.
I've had the Carbonio carbon fiber F430 F1 Challenge Paddles on my 430 since last May. No problems with turn signals, high beams, or wipers.
There are some low rent paddles out there. Best to go with Carbonio or one of the other top end manufacturers. I have Carbonios on mine and no interference problems. You can even hit the downshift paddle and intentionally use the turn signal simultaneously with some practice.
With Stef's Smart Turn Signal ECU I can trigger the convenience flashes while downshifting, and the lengthened paddles make shifting while turning easy. You're right, you get what you pay for.
No. I have, however, on several occasions, activated the wipers when shifting mid-corner. haha. I have hot-dog-sized fingers, though. haha
My wife has the Carbonio CF extended paddles in her 430 for maybe 4 years now and no issues whatever,
Hello, I share with you some pictures for your consideration of our CF extended paddles, that we have developed for MAT "New Stratos" which is a project based on F430 engine and chassis, these can fit every F430.
